Privacy Policy

CV Optimizer helps you analyze and improve your CV. This policy explains what data we process and how we handle it.

What we collect

• CV content you upload or paste, and optional job descriptions, solely to run the analysis you request.
• Usage data such as session cookies for rate limits and anonymous analytics (page views) when enabled.

What we do not do

• We do not persist your CV text in a database by default.
• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not use your CV to train third-party models.

Demo mode

When the product runs in demo mode, analysis results are generated from templates and heuristics rather than a live AI model. Do not submit highly sensitive information you would not share in a public demo.

Third-party services

When AI analysis is enabled, CV text may be sent to an LLM provider (e.g. OpenAI) to generate suggestions. Hosting is provided by Vercel. Analytics may use Vercel Analytics. See their respective privacy policies.

Your rights

Because we do not store CVs by default, deletion requests are typically unnecessary. Contact us if you have questions about data handling in your jurisdiction (including GDPR).
